Lake Korrison is a nature protected site and the golden sandy beach of Halikounas is one of the most beautiful sandy beaches on the west coast of Corfu. The surrounding area of the lake is undeveloped and many wild birds live there. For this reason the whole area is protected by NATURA and has generally escaped the ravages of tourism, in a rare coexistence of lake, dunes and the sea. An excellent choice of villa for families or those who wish to mix the peace and quiet with a little hustle and bustle, the resort of Messonghi is just 7.5 km away. A similar villa is located next door - though not overlooked and separated by a wall - can be a good option for large parties 6-12 who wish to book together.
