The North Devon Festival runs from the end of May for a month with a packed programme of musical entertainment, dance, sport theatre and comedy at a variety of popular venues across the north of the County and is said to be one of the top five events of the country! Croyde itself hosts The GoldCoast Oceanfeast from 19th to 21st June which is part of the festival where 500 athletes compete for 10 beach free sports titles in Croyde Bay together with live bands and lots to eat and drink. There is fun for all!

The area has spectacular scenery to rival any found within the UK and boasts coastal and inland walks to satisfy walkers of all levels of ability. Golfing enthusiasts are well catered for with several excellent courses within “driving range”, notably the famous Saunton Sands Club. Other attractions include boat/fishing hire and ferries to Lundy from Ilfracombe, several adventure/theme parks nearby, Watermouth Castle, Arlington Court and a little further The Big Sheep at Abbotsham and The Milky Way at Clovelly.
