All this is unusual in Polperro, a traditional fishing village where quaint fishermans cottages crowd around the harbour, evoking the mood of a bygone age, so here you get the best of both worlds. Situated on the hill, it is a small climb to get to the property, but the effort is well worthwhile, as this pretty location will soon lull you into a relaxed frame of mind. The cottage itself has been lovingly and sympathetically refurbished with wooden floorboards, wooden latched doors, a light and airy lounge with woodburner stove and spacious kitchen diner.

There is a delightful master bedroom with those amazing views to enjoy along with your early morning cup of tea as well as two further bedrooms. We can't imagine a better place to be on a calm summer evening than on the patio, watching the sun set behind the village and enjoying an aperitif whilst tending the barbecue. Polperro provides plenty in the way of distractions, having several traditional inns, restaurants and shops and the nearby port of Looe also provides many of the traditional seaside entertainments. For the more energetic the beautiful South West Coastal path winds around the rugged coastline close to the cottage and the popular Talland beach is a five minute drive or a short walk away. Polperro is also a great base from which to explore the many attractions of this Celtic County, with its proud seafaring traditions.
