This bright sunny apartment is well equipped for four people to enjoy a self catering holiday. It is situated next to a lake with a tidal sea inlet and the long sandy beach is only a five minute walk. The apartment is on the first floor of a two storey block of apartments in a calm private complex which is accessed via an automatic barrier with a key provided. There is also a private parking space. The flat is situated in Les Ayguades, between the old fishing village and modern marina of Gruissan and Narbonne Plage in the Languedoc Roussillion, on the south coast of France. The complex is next to a lake with a tidal sea inlet which is a great spot to fish and is safe for children. The massive Mediterranean sandy beach is only a five minute walk from the apartment. There are restaurants, launderette, bar and shops within a short walking distance and a wider selection of bars and restaurants in Narbonne plage or Gruissan, only 5-minutes by car. With 300 days of sunshine a year this coast line comes alive for the best holiday ever. Fine sand covers over 200km of beaches and the European Blue Flag foundation has officially declared this region of the Languedoc-Roussillon to be the best protected coast in France, due to its water quality and its respect for the natural preserved environment in which flora and fauna abound. The apartment is perfect for summer holiday’s and is well equipped for four people to enjoy a self catering holiday. There is a shower room and separate toilet. The bedroom has a double bed and there is a second double bed on the mezzanine floor. A baby's bed can be provided. The sitting area consists of a sofa, coffee table and a television with DVD. The corner kitchen includes a table seating four people. A south facing patio perfect for private sun bathing, faces the large communal swimming pool, (free access to our guests). This is a perfect holiday destination for couples and also has excellent entertainment for children. Cycle hire, Pirate Park, go-carts, fishing, Aqua Park (opening in 2010). Horse riding, paint balling & sail boarding are all within five minutes of the apartment.
