15 metres from Bigbury-on-Sea's big and splendid sandy beach, and looking at Burgh Island over the low-tide sandy causeway, is this truly excellent development of 29 high quality apartments, and, within the building, a very good private Leisure Club with indoor pool, sauna and gym. The views over the sea to the south and west, and at low tide of a huge expanse of smooth washed yellow sand reaching to Burgh Island, are outstanding. The island's jolly pub, The Pilchard, is fun to visit (long-legged sea tractor at high tide).

These apartments have sensational views, are double-glazed, marvellously light, with large living/dining/fitted kitchens, glazed doors to balconies or terraces. They are privately owned and individually furnished: the kitchens are mainly Neff, some Shaker, some smarter. All have breakfast bars unless otherwise stated.

Smallish bedrooms at the back (no views) with good quality en suite, internal, tiled, bath or shower-rooms with heated towel rails. Electric heating, either underfloor or night store and convector fires. Most have easy access (short walk from the car and between 5 and 9 steps down to the lift). Parking for one car at the back of each property and some extra space for guests. Arrival after 4pm.

No 24. On the top floor with stunning sea/beach views looking right across at the island, a comfortable, child-friendly apartment. It has an open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer) with sliding doors out to a balcony (table/chairs - great for sundowners), TV/DVD and games/books. Two bedrooms – a double (5’ bed) with en suite bathroom (suite plus bath-shower), and a bunk room with en suite shower-room (suite plus bidet).

The apartment at bigbury was absoloutely fantastic, it had everything you could possibly want including wonderful views. The use of swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and gym was a great back up when weather was not too good.
