Cawsand 3 bed pet friendly holiday cottage

England  > South West England  > Cornwall  > Cawsand

ID  5700

General

In Cawsand, one of a row of Georgian cottages, 150 yards from the pub, shop and beach (foot ferry to Plymouth). At the back, a terraced garden on various levels (15 steps) with table/chairs, climbing up to a door to a tiny lane. Inside, some ancient doors with lintels varying from 5’7" upwards, knobbly walls and flagstones, giving a clue to its origins. It is homely and unpretentious.

From the lane, door to hall with parquet flooring; surprisingly large, depth-of-cottage living room with comfy sofa/chairs, old desk, TV/DVD, board games/toys; kitchen (slimline dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer) with table/chairs in the middle and dresser; back lobby with washing machine, tumble drier, off which a shower-room (suite). From hall, half-turn steepish stairs up to three bedrooms – a double (5’ bed) with floorboards/rugs, a twin, and a single with pull-out truckle and limited clothes-hanging space; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Public car park, 50 yards.

"The cottage and the village exceeded our expectations, very happy with the service, thank you."

"A lovely house in a delightful village with friendly 'locals' and teriffic pubs"

"Very nice homely house- nothing too precious so we felt comfortable having our dogs and sons with us. Lovely and warm. Steep stairs to garden at back - but no deterrent to us! Very thoughtful owners provided loads of games, a few books, drying facilities for drippy umbrellas etc and lots of kitchen equipment. Thank you ! We had a great week."

"This cottage is spacious, very comfortable and extremely well equipped. It is situated in a quiet, pretty village that is full of character (as well as 5 pubs all of which serve food!!) Beautiful walks with superb views in all directions - what more could you ask for??!!"

"We all enjoyed our stay. The bedrooms were spacious and we found the property was well-equiped with a lovely terraced garden."

"great holiday, great location, great cottage."

"We were very happy in this cottage, beds wonderfully comfortable. We were warned about the car park charge but didn't expect to have to feed the meter with coin. The alternative car park was much more satisfactory, but then we were out of season. "

"We love Cawsand so much that we will be moving there shortly. The cottage is well equipped, clean, comfortable and well positioned. We reccommend it to anyone who wishes to enjoy the Rame penninsula with Cawsand as their starting point!!"
