Land of tzatziki, ouzo, feta cheese and lobster, the fresh local produce is simple and wonderful, whether home cooked at your luxurious villa near Gaios or savoured in one of the tabernas.

Hire a dinghy and explore all around the coastline, where you can moor off some deserted beaches with your picnic held above your head as you make for the beach. The water is generally extremely calm and safe, so get your captain’s hat on and give the kids a treat on the Ionian sea.
