There are many attractions to fill your days. Beautiful beaches, forest walks, ruins of Caunos, Lycien Rock Tombs, Boat Trips, Turkish baths, Masseurs, Natural Mudbaths, Thermal Springs, Markets, Shops, very reasonably priced Restaurants and Bars and charming and friendly people.

Since 1986, Dalyan and has been a conservation area and wildlife sanctuary. Because of this, the small town on the South West coast of the Mediterranean has kept it's Turkish charm and appeal, and many people return year after year. Dalyan is an area of stunning natural beauty, an area of sea, river, lakes, mountains and pine forests. This wonderful un-spoilt corner of Turkey is the perfect place to enjoy the relaxing and exotic culture of Turkey. Dalyan and its people are so incredibly friendly, you will probably never want to leave.

This beautiful villa is set in it's own walled garden with panoramic views of the mountain countryside, There is a floodlit swimming pool with a circular children's pool and a barbecue. In the villa you will find a large lounge and dining area and large fully equipped kitchen complete with fridge freezer, microwave and washing machine. The whole villa is air conditioned and is equipped with DVD/CD/TAPE system, Satelite TV, Wireless Internet Access, and Playstation 2. All bedrooms have their own balcony with Mountain Views, and there are two bathrooms upstairs (one en-suite), and a shower room downstairs.
Two sides of the dining room open up onto a large south facing (but covered) terrace with barbecue and access to the pool. There is a separate children's pool and quiet areas of the garden, ideal for sunbathing the villa is situated on the edge of Dalyan Town and is only a four minute Taxi or Dolmus ride into the centre of Dalyan. There is a small shop at the end of the road.

Close to Dalyan lies the five km Iztuzu Beach (Turtle Beach) that juts out from the main land into the Mediterranean. This site was earmarked for development until it was brought to the authorities attention that it was one of the last nesting grounds for the endangered Loggerhead Turtle. A campaign with David Bellamy and a local woman Kaptan June (Haimhoff) were successful in stopping the development of Iztuzu Beach.

Highlights were hiring a boat for the day through Ahmet (very helpful). Captain Hussain was really nice, takes you wherever you like, provides snorkelling gear and cooks you a great lunch well worth every lira."
