Inside: large, comfortable living room with stone fireplace (woodburner), TV/DVD, iPod dock, toys/games, paperbacks, good pictures; steps up to well-equipped fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave), divided by bar from dining area; lobby and back door to patio. Steepish stairs (stairgates, handrail) up to three bedrooms, all with pretty fabrics – a double, a twin and a single, both with good sea views. Bathroom (corner bath plus bath-shower, washbasin); separate loo. Folding bed available. Good cottage, brilliant area.

We had a great time in East Prawle. The holiday house was great - warm, comfortable, spacious and with lots of facilities. We had a brilliant time in the house and then walking along the coastal path, one visit to excellent food in the local pub - the Pig's Nose and there was also a small shop. We drove to nearby Kingsbridge a lovely small town and nearby were the Moors, Totnes, Dartington - in fact, I would love to go back... Altogether a great time. - Ruth Reynolds
