In Burton Bradstock, end on to the B3157 (particularly busy in summer), Dormouse Cottage (c1610) is tiny; Grade II listed, traditional Dorset thatched, stone built, and a stone's throw from two pubs (both ‘good food’). An easy walk to the beach (sometimes sandy).

Front door straight into living/dining room with big inglenook open fireplace, good beams (some only 5'10" high, but ceiling higher), TV/DVD. Small kitchen (microwave, washing machine), and bathroom (suite plus bath-shower and hand-shower). Up very steep stairs (handrail), two bedrooms – a double and, off it, a low-ceilinged bedroom with two 2’6" beds. At the back, 4 large stone steps up to a little patio garden with timber summer house. No children under 6.
