On the very edge of Falmouth, 5 minutes' walk from Swanpool Beach, 7 minutes' walk from Gyllingvase Beach and close to the coastal paths, a comfortable, private apartment on the first floor of a private house. 180 degree sea views across gardens to Swanpool Bay and Falmouth Bay. You have your own pretty terraced garden (table/chairs, gas barbecue).

External steps lead up to your porch; good-sized hall for coats/wellies/beach paraphernalia; living/dining room (TV/DVD/video, CD player, iPod dock, books, DVDs, videos) with picture window (binoculars provided) for those lovely views; small, fitted galley kitchen (washer-drier, microwave). Two bedrooms: a double with view over the garden, and a twin looking out to sea. Bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). The friendly owners live unobtrusively in the main house, but are delighted to advise on fares, days out etc when requested. Golf close by.

"We had a lovely time in Falmouth. I have just retired form teaching and have been waiting to go on holiday in May for years. The spring flowers are wonderful. We went to the Lost Gardens of Heligan, where there are banks of bluebells scenting the woodland walks.(Lots more). We visited Pendennis castle, where there are early purple orchids. We walked for miles and took a lot of photographs. The food is great too: we especially enjoyed Harbour Lights, where the views and fish and chips are all excellent."
