The house is a beautifully restored period property, rumoured to have been a sea captains house. It is located in the centre of Newquay and has five bedrooms sleeping 10 people comfortably.

The house is ideal for families and groups sharing. It is just minutes from the beaches with sea views from many of the rooms. It is also within easy walking distance of the shops, restaurants and bars.

The property retains many of its original features, with high ceilings, large bay windows and stripped floorboards. The rooms are spacious and bright.

The house is accessed via a large private hallway with stripped floors. The property comprises:

• Large Drawing Room on the first floor with seating for 10. Two large feather filled sofas and two leather armchairs. Satellite TV, WiFi, CD/DVD player. There is also a small balcony with views to the sea.
• Spacious Kitchen /Diner with a large kitchen table and seating for 10. Double Belfast sink, electric oven, ceramic hob, microwave, fridge freezer, washing machine, dishwasher kettle, toaster.
• 5 bedrooms sleeping up to 10 guests. Two bedrooms have a king size bed, One bedroom has a double. There are also two further bedrooms one with 2 twin beds and the fifth bedroom has a ‘zip-and-link bed which can be configured as 2 twin beds or a king-size bed. The 2 ground floor bedrooms both have en suite shower rooms
• 1 family bathroom on the top floor with shower over the bath
• Quality Egyptian cotton sheets and fluffy towels are included but please bring beach towels!
• Parking for 2 cars with additional on road parking in the vicinity. Garage for storage of surfboards

The mews is brand new for 2011 and can be rented on its own or with the house. It sleeps 4 and is stylishly presented with open living/dining area and one upstairs bedroom with double bed. The bathroom has a fantastic walk in shower. There is a sofa bed downstairs which converts to a king sized bed.
