Cottage sleeps 6 + cot in 2 double and 1 twin bedroom. Originally the stables, this cottage has been lovingly converted, offering every home comfort, while retaining its original character.

Enter through the quaint courtyard door to the kitchen area of the ground floor, open plan living space. The fully equipped kitchen has all you need to create a any meal including electric oven and grill; ceramic hob, microwave, fridge and freezer.

A traditional painted/stripped pine farmhouse table seats 6 comfortably and the lounge area has a large corner sofa scattered with bright, funky cushions – on which to curl up and watch a film on the wall mounted, flat screen TV with separate DVD/CD player. The kitchen and living space has original Marland brick flooring with a large soft rug in the lounge.

Take the open tread wooden stairs from the lounge area up to a cosy double bedroom with sloping ceilings and beams and sea views from the delightful dormer windows.

A charming Victorian style bathroom with an original roll top cast iron bath and toilet with pull chain cistern can be found at the foot of the stairs off the living area.

The partly glazed back stable door in the lounge area leads out to 3.5 acres of beautiful grounds with fabulous, uninterrupted views of the glorious countryside and sea. A small flight of steps, next to the pretty flowering rockery, leads up to a private gas barbeque and eating area exclusive to the Cottage guests.

Enter from the kitchen area, two steps up to a hallway with a window overlooking the courtyard and two bedrooms leading off. The first door leads to a pretty, twin bedded room with antique pine bedside cabinets and matching double wardrobe. A huge pine king–sized sleigh bed can be found in the master bedroom at the end of the hallway, again with matching bedside cabinets, double wardrobe and chest of drawers. A cot is also located in this room. Both bedrooms have shared access to a large travertine tiled shower room with toilet.

Welcome Pack - consisting of tea, coffee, sugar, milk, home made cake (for week long bookings), freshly laid duck & chicken eggs (when available) and other household essentials - tea towels, oven gloves, bin liners, liquid soaps, toilet rolls and cleaning materials for kitchen and bathroom areas.

A special ‘Festive’ Pack is offered for Christmas and New Year breaks with wine, chocolates or biscuits, and Xmas crackers all in addition to the standard pack. Not to mention a real pine tree with decorations (for min 5 night stays).
