In the heart of Cawsand, 100 yards from beach (foot ferry to Plymouth), pub and shop, a terraced 19th cent. cottage on three levels, seemingly bigger on the inside than out. Neat little enclosed sunny paved area (table/chairs) at the back, and virtually no traffic passes it.

Inside, modern and unfussy with wood and tiled floors downstairs. Front door to little porch into living room with comfy sofas and woodburner (TV/DVD, games, toys, books); through to dining room and handcrafted fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge) with lovely big dresser, old pine table. From the kitchen, glazed doors to the courtyard and useful outhouse with washing machine, tumble drier and fridge-freezer. Loo (washbasin). From the hall, stairs up to first floor with double bedroom (6’ four-poster) and smart bathroom (suite plus bath-shower with his/hers washbasins). More stairs up to second floor and two more bedrooms – another double, and a bunk room. Loading and unloading outside – public car park, 80 yards. Arrival after 4pm. An excellent cottage.

This is a lovely big house, a real home from home, all that you need and more. The beach and pub are a short walk away. This was the 2nd time at Kingsand & Cawsand for us and we will be back for a 3rd. - Mr & Mrs Taylor
