In the heart of Kingsand, a three-storey terraced cottage, 100 yards from the beach and two good food, friendly pubs.

Inside, stylish modern decor. Front door from tiny narrow lane (no cars passing) to living room with woodburner, red sofas (comfortably seating 5) and French oak floor (TV/DVD); smart fitted kitchen with Indian slate floor, dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge-freezer and range with gas hob/electric oven; small dining area (table seating 6) and French windows to tiny courtyard (morning suntrap); downstairs shower/loo. Steep half-turn stairs to two bedrooms – a double (washbasin) leading through to a bunk room (double bunk at bottom, single on top) with games/jigsaws; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower); more stairs to two more bedrooms – a double with views of the sea over higgledy-piggledy rooftops, and a twin. Excellent house in an unspoilt area, good for rock pools, beaches and ship-spotting. Sleeps maximum of 6 adults. Loading and unloading from lane, 20 yards; public car park, 150 yards.

This cottage in Kingsand the whole family from an eighty year old to 20 something son thought an incredible house and location. All equipment, white goods and especially bedding etc was top of the range and highest quality. The bed in top bedroom was amazing and I have taken all details even down to the 'Goose Down ' Duvet! The 'Duck Down' pillows and the mattress. Just a pity I can't transfer the most amazing view! We also loved everything especially the walks, incredible views, welcoming residents, pubs and well everything. I hope it remains a 'Forgotten' place as its beauty is that it has remained unspoilt by the tourism industry. - Ross Family
