Stunning is the only word to describe the location of this cottage. Lannacombe Bay is one of the most beautiful unspoilt stretches of coastline anywhere in England, where dramatic cliffs fall away to sandy coves and the coastal path clambers its way from Start Point to Salcombe and beyond. This is the middle cottage of three attached coastguard cottages built by the Admiralty in 1903 and provides comfortable, practical, no frills accommodation in a simply glorious spot.

There are two fine beaches on the doorstep, one shingle and one sand, both good for swimming and perfect for rock-pooling, beach art and family use. Walking is unsurpassed with the South Devon Coast Path at the bottom of the garden. This much loved cottage has been in the owners' family for over 60 years and a more tranquil and beautiful spot is hard to imagine.
