General

To most, a name like Portwrinkle will conjure up a strong vision of a Dickensian fishing village in the South West, full of smugglers, caves and fisherman arriving on the shores in the early hours of the morning as the fish wives take over to sell the wares.

In truth, the traditions of the area have moved on, but the history remains to this day and this Cornish coastal enclave now attracts visitors who wish to soak up the images and remaining artefacts, such as the 17th century wall of the pilchard cellars, which now form part of this beautifully sympathetic development.

This 3 bedroom house which is richly conserved in keeping with the local surroundings cannot fail to entice, as you retreat into another world. Yet just a short car ride away and you can be back with the madding crowds if you so desire it.
