Opposite the beach (20 yards) at Maenporth, in a slightly elevated position surrounded by sheltering trees, a detached modern house with great views over the beach. Twelve shallow steps lead up through the garden to it and its large terraced front patio area (table/chairs) – relaxing spot for sitting out and enjoying a morning coffee or evening glass of wine. Opposite, the coastal path taking you for as far as you want to go, and running along one side of the garden, a footpath to Mawnan Smith and its pub (don’t forget torch!). Regular bus service into Falmouth/Helford/Truro.
