Marazion 2 bed holiday cottage near the beach

England  > South West England  > Cornwall  > Marazion

General

There is a very special feeling to this 150 year old granite coastal cottage, which is full of character and charm. The cottage is located on the seaward side of the delightful and ancient little market town of Marazion and benefits from lovely sea views and footpath access to the beach right outside the front door and down the lane! Decorated throughout in red, blue and yellow with comfortable modern furnishings and pictures, the cottage has a very bright and welcoming feel which only adds to its overall charm and character. Marazion continues to be a very popular holiday destination (for couples and families alike), as this unspoilt village which sits in the curve of Mounts Bay has one of the longest and safest beaches in West Cornwall.

The iconic island of St Michael’s Mount with its fairy tale castle dominates the village and the surrounding area and is well worth the visit either by causeway at low tide or a short ferry ride. The regional hub of Penzance is a ten minute drive and offers an abundance of good restaurants, shops, galleries, and transport links to the Isles of Scilly. This is a charming little cottage that is perfect for that carefree summer holiday as well as other breaks out of season, but don’t leave it too long to book!
