Dating back to the early 1900’s, the house is aptly named as it was the general storage area for the horse drawn carriages that serviced the main house which stands adjacent to the property and overlooks Mounts Bay. Whilst the cottage is not blessed with panoramic sea views, it certainly makes up for it with a very spacious living area, three large picture windows, high vaulted ceilings in all rooms, pretty soft furnishings and a quality interior appointment that would put some four star hotels to shame! Running along the entire front of the house is a private patio area which is south facing and therefore perfect for morning coffee in the sunshine or a late afternoon glass of something a little stronger! Marazion continues to attract a broad variety of visitor as it has such wide appeal to all age groups.

This ancient seaside town (it was named in the Domesday Book) is dominated by St. Michael’s Mount with its fairy tale castle and pedestrian causeway which is only accessible at low tide. There is a very safe crescent shaped beach which stretches for over a mile, plenty of rock pools for the kids, a plethora of good eating houses, shops and galleries in the town and a large selection of beach activities including wind and kite surfing. The regional hub of Penzance is a good stroll along the sea wall and cycle path where air and sea transport links to the Isles of Scilly are available.
