According to archive material, the hotel was the honeymoon choice of Dylan Thomas after he married Caitlin McNamara and immortalised Mousehole through his poetry as the loveliest village in England. Today, the village remains relatively unscathed and retains a huge amount of character and charm which seems to envelope you as you wander down the donkey-wide streets and narrow little alleyways.
