This new studio is laid out with space to spare. There is a double bed and two singles. The kitchen is newly equipped and the bathroom is roomy and immaculate. The view as you awake in the double bed is of Palmidi castle, a 13th century fort atop the hill that overlooks Nafplion. The castle is romantically flood lit at night. When sitting outside the studio door on the small paved area you can see the Bourtzi, a 13th century island fortress in Nafplion bay.

The ground floor studio is bordered by a carefully tended garden. The road on which the studio is situated is quiet and dotted liberally with trees. The old town of Nafplio is a short walk away or you can drive. The old town is very chic and popular with Athenians. Small pedestrian streets are flanked with Venetian buildings and Turkish architecture. Nafplio is an excellent place for shopping or just sitting with your coffee. The night life in this area is arguably the best in Greece.

There is also a good town beach with cafe and changing rooms. Just down the coast is the well known Karathona beach with long stretches of sand and safe shallow waters. The area is home to some of the most famous and best preserved ancient sites in Greece, such as Mycenae, Epidavros, Tiryns etc.
