General

Dating back to the early 1800’s, this loft is a gorgeous little bolt hole for two that has recently been renovated to provide simple yet comfortable accommodation with views over Penzance and Mounts Bay. Overlooking the traditional working fishing harbour of Newlyn, this former net loft is full of charm with a quirky layout as it has two small mezzanine storage areas above the lounge and bedroom which gives it a nautical feel. White painted interior granite walls and black fitted kitchen units complete the contemporary look together with fully tiled floors and full central heating for those chilly autumnal or winter nights!

A short stroll along side the harbour slipway will bring you to the Fisherman’s Arms, a good local and friendly pub serving fresh Cornish food and beer. Another hundred yards and you will reach the Smugglers Fish Restaurant with its extensive menu of fresh fish which is landed daily. Newlyn remains the second largest white fishing port in the country and therefore it is possible to sample some of the finest fish and seafood in the world – right on your doorstep! The bustling regional hub of Penzance is really joined at the hip with Newlyn and offers a plethora of pubs, restaurants, shop and galleries together with air and sea links to the sub tropical Scilly Isles situated just 28 miles offshore.
