In Padstow, 350 yards up from the pretty harbour front, a handsome, early Victorian semi-detached house on three floors, with typical lofty ceilings, huge windows and generous-sized rooms. In front is a paved parking area (rare in this narrow-streeted village), and, at the back, a neat enclosed garden (table/chairs, barbecue) on two levels (2 steps).

Front door to hall; big kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, larder fridge) with dining table/chairs in middle, TV/DVD and utility area with washing machine, tumble drier and fridge-freezer. South-facing living room, looking to gravelled patio area, with big bay windows letting in lots of light, TV/DVD/video. Downstairs loo (washbasin). Stable doors and 5 steps down to the garden. Back in the hall, stairs up to the first floor and two bedrooms – both double, one with glimpses of the Camel estuary across slate rooftops; big bathroom (suite with separate shower); more stairs up to second floor with two more bedrooms – a twin (footboards) with long, pretty views, and one with two single beds; shower-room (suite). A lovely family house, hugely convenient for shops, cafés, restaurants and away from the bustle. Arrival after 4pm.
