The local port offers a daily ferry service across the waters to the Scilly Isles run by the Isles of Scilly Steamship Company and if staying here, do not miss the opportunity to visit these unspoilt and spectacular islands for a day to escape the hustle and bustle of modern life.

Back at the beach, the Praa Sands pub offers a friendly welcome to all, even though legend has it that the word ‘Praa’ means witches cove and the area is steeped in haunted house stories with Pengersick Castle being featured in the TV series Most Haunted.
