A 16th cent. spacious detached stone farmhouse beside a tree-shaded lane on the hillside just east of Polperro. One-third mile walk (very steep) to village centre/harbour; buses into village from camp site ½ mile drive away. Talland Bay (beach with some sand, rock pools, good hotel), ¾ mile; coast path, ¼ mile. Own parking area (rare in Polperro). Good-sized and secluded garden (little lawns, hedges, trees, flowers, patio with picnic table, benches) behind the house.

Inside, porch; comfortable living room (woodburner, TV/DVD); kitchen/dining room (microwave, fridge-freezer) with huge ornamental fireplace with bread oven, leading to snug (armchair, oil-fired Aga - switched off during June, July and August, pine dresser with pretty plates); from kitchen/dining room, door to utility room (washing machine), shower-room (suite), conservatory, and garden. Steepish stairs up to three bedrooms – two double (one with pine four-poster bed), and a twin; bathroom (suite); door to patio and garden. Dog beds/bowls provided.
