At one end of a row of fishermans cottages built with their backs to the coastal approach road to Portmellon, this cottage is right by the sea, the sound and sight of it fills the windows.

A long low walled patio serves both this cottage and the one next door. There are steps down onto the rocks, where visitors can fish at high tide, or onto the sand at low tide. Comfortably furnished for holiday accommodation, the cottage retains much of the simplicity of a genuine Cornish cottage, with an entrance from the road leading into a small hallway with an adjacent bathroom / W.C. and basin. A long beamed sitting room takes up the full width of the cottage.

On the floor above are three bedrooms, a double with vanity basin, one with twin beds, the third with bunks. Beneath the sitting room is a kitchen / dining room and a utility entrance hall, shower and a W.C. with hand basin. The back door opens to the patio, also reached by gated steps, down from the road. Small children will require supervision both inside and out.
