Positano 4 bed beach villa sleeps 6

Italy  > Campania  > Positano

General

During your stay here you will never lose sight of the mundane town of Positano with its houses clinging to the coastal slope nor of the turquoise blue sea. It is not only the fantastic views which make this elegant holiday home so attractive, but also its nearness to fine restaurants and to the beach which is only 200 metres off and accessible via steps. A twenty-minute walk takes you to the lively centre of the once contemplative fishing village. Arriving here is spectacular in itself: not far from Positano’s vista point Belvedere, a cable car takes you directly to your holiday home. The spacious, ca. 100 m² terrace in front of the house offers a lot of space for relaxation. Here, you can start your day off with a cup of cappuccino and give in to the magic of the unique location and the charm of Positano right in the morning.

The view from the upper terrace which is designed with beautiful ceramic tiles opens upon the wonderful coast, too. The trees and flowers lining the premises of I tre Ulivi give you the feeling of being amidst nature in spite of the central location and they offer pleasant shade on sunny days. Thus, you can settle down comfortably with a good book in the shade of a citrus tree on another, smaller terrace. The outdoor barbecue comes in handy for culinary delights on mild summer evenings. The holiday home with its ca. 180 m² of living space is furnished with a sure sense of taste and style. Via the large terrace you enter the ca. 30 m² living room which offers various seating. The floor adorned with hand-painted ceramic tiles is particularly beautiful. On the lower floor, you will also find a small eat-in kitchen with washing machine and dish washer and a double bedroom with en suite bathroom.

On the upper floor, there are three bedrooms, i.e. two doubles and one twin. One of the double bedrooms has its own balcony; the other double room lets you onto the large sun terrace. Furthermore, there are two bathrooms with shower, WC and bidet and another WC. Should you need entertainment, the TV and the radio with minidisk player might come in handy. Your holiday home is equipped with central heating; two of the double bedrooms offer air conditioning with integrated heating system. A fan also provides for pleasant coolness on summer days. There is a reserved parking space for you on the premises of a nearby hotel, somewhat above the villa. At Positano, you are, in general, better off walking or using one of the regularly scheduled orange coloured city busses Interno Positano.

The townscape is dominated by the numerous labyrinthine terraced alleys winding through the town along the slope. Due to its special location, Positano is rather unsuitable for families with small children. Those enthusiastic about hiking will, however, really get their money’s worth: Sentiero degli Dei, the Path of Gods, the best-known and perhaps most beautiful high-level hiking trail at the Costiera Amalfitana runs between Positano (trail end) and Agerola (trailhead). Nearest train station: Meta di Sorrento (take Circumvesuviana from Napoli Garibaldi), then on by bus to Positano.
