This is a beautiful fishing village on the north west coast of Fuerteventura. The village boasts some of the best seafood restaurants on the island, has the best sunsets and is a haven for artists and sun-lovers. Naturists / nudists love this laid back getaway with its countless coves, shallow water lagoons, beautiful scenery and most of all peace and quiet.

El Cotillo village is divided into two parts, on the left is the wild beach where the surfers and windsurfers play. On the right are the quiet lagoons and sandy coves which is ideal for families with children who can play in the warm shallow water. El Cotillo benefits from all year round sunshine with few cloudy days and very little rainfall.

One mile north of El Cotillo village, this small group of privately owned one and two bedroom apartments is in a truly idyllic location on the edge of beautiful blue lagoons. Just a few steps through a small garden of tropical flowers is the silvery white beach and warm clear water.

Although there is a restaurant close-by, there is, to date, little else - a seaside holiday just as nature intended.

Each apartment has an open plan lounge and dining area, kitchenette, shower room, one or two bedrooms and either a ground floor terrace or first floor balcony, all with magnificent views across the lagoon. Electricity is provided by a generator.

El Cotillo is a quiet fishing village with some excellent traditional restaurants. Other amenities are limited, but Corralejo is only twenty minutes drive away.
