In Ringmore, one of the closest dwellings to beautiful Ayrmer Cove, at the end of a no through road, a spacious, detached home with outstanding uninterrupted views to the sea. Alongside, footpath down to the little shingle/sand beach (600 yards) and coast path, an unspoilt breeding haven for rare birds and dragonflies. On the seaward side, large sun terrace (table/chairs, barbecue, panoramic views, sunsets) surrounded by big garden with orchard and lawned/meadow areas (some sloping/steepish). Many idyllic childhood summers spent here, now refurbished, stylish, spacious and comfortable.

Steps down to porch; loo (washbasin); smart, bright fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer, gas hob/electric oven, big table/chairs); hall; living/dining room with open fire, TV/DVD, big windows at each end (sea views) and doors to terrace; sitting room/snug (double sofa bed for alternative sleeping); shower-room (suite). Outside, utility room (washing machine, tumble drier) for beach gear/wetsuits. Stairs (stairgates) up to four bedrooms – a double (5’ bed, limited clothes-hanging space) with lovely sea views and en suite shower-room (suite), another double (6’ zip-linked bed or twin) with washbasin and en suite shower-room (loo), and, sharing wardrobe space on the landing, a bunk room and a single with pull-out truckle bed (sea views); bathroom (suite plus hand-shower). Pets permitted in kitchen only.

This is a wonderful house in a beautiful location. We really enjoyed our stay. The views from the house of Ayrmer Cove were fantastic. The beaches at Ayrmer, Challabrough and Bigbury were great for the dog and the grandchildren. We can also recommend the food at the local pub The Journeys End.
