At the back, big, enclosed lawn/flowering shrub garden with lovely long views to the sea, patio and table/chairs. This is an exceptionally roomy cottage with high ceilings and plenty of elbow room.

Ground floor entrance to lobby (washing machine, tumble drier) and three bedrooms – two double, one with en suite shower-room (suite), and a twin; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Stairs up to big, lofty open-plan living/dining/fitted kitchen (dishwasher, microwave, fridge-freezer) with high apex ceiling and exposed beams, French windows to garden (split-level foundations), and a few steps up to sitting area with woodburner and TV/Sky/DVD. At this level, another double bedroom (5’ bed) with en suite shower-room and separate loo (can be accessed from living room, 2 doors). Family-friendly, comfy house within easy walking distance of a good-food pub and beach.

A delightful cottage, ideally placed within walking distance (about 1 mile) of Ayrmers Cove with a lovely beach and excellent rock pools (deserted when we were there!)and good coastal walks. Good facilities and a selection of games for the children (difficult to drag mine away from junior monopoly!). Easy driving distance to both Plymouth and Dartmouth if you don't want to spend all your time on the beach. Oh, and close to a great pub serving local food and beer - Couldn't ask for more! - Mrs R Bolt
