All the Devonshire delights await you too, with cream teas, special ales, crabs and winkles and fresh local produce either to cook up a storm in your self-catering holiday home or enjoy at the table of one of the several wonderful eateries. Home grown fish and chips here are obligatory.

With its seafaring history, the sea is still central to the area and beaches, boats, sailing and fishing as well as every other conceivable water based activity are at your fingertips. Not to forget the landlubbers at all though - the area is famous for its trails and wildlife routes, so no excuse not to visit.
