Dating back to the early 1800’s, this fabulous little “bolt hole” was formerly the pump house that supplied well water to the adjoining coastguard cottages. It was also used to house the rockets which were fired to secure lines for the Breaches Buoys when coastguards attempted the dangerous transfer of sailors from the unfortunate vessels that foundered on the treacherous rocks and coves around the Land’s End peninsula.

Situated just yards from the coastal path and two minutes from the little harbour, shop, cafe and lifeboat station, The property is literally a cottage for all seasons.
