Characterised by Georgian architecture, the bijoux village of Shaldon is just a minute’s walk away from this Georgian beach road conversion dating from the 1700s, which can accommodate up to 9 people in its sumptuous surroundings. Occupying three floors of the mansion-like house, each of the four rooms offers unparalleled views to both the Teign Estuary and Teignmouth along the coast.

Shaldon beach is located just across the road from the house and the Shaldon regatta is one of the oldest races in England dating back to at least 1817, if not before, records reveal. The modern regatta runs for nine days each August alongside the duck race when hundreds of yellow ducks are released on ‘The Strand’ to bob along the Teign Estuary.
