This is a very impressive shoreline in South Devon along the Jurassic Coast at Bigbury-on-sea, which is a Designated Area of Outstanding Beauty. The stunning Blue Flag sandy beach is also joined by a causeway to Burgh Island.

You can walk across at high tide, but don’t worry if the tide comes up, the sea tractor will probably give you a lift back. You will be equally as impressed by this high specification three bedroom cottage at the waters edge, with commanding sea views and a private balcony.

There is wide variety of adrenaline fuelled water sports for the adventurous, but also a spot of crab spotting in the rock pools for those of a more leisurely nature.
