General

The harbour town of Salcombe in the most southerly part of Devon was originally a seafaring village, where shipbuilders and smugglers rubbed shoulders and fishermen brought back the daily catch. Now, a thriving holiday destination, the ties with the sea have not been severed, but improved, as holidaymakers enjoy the clean water and long stretches of beaches.

The rural location of this superb two bedroom lodge provides the best of all worlds, with stunning views to the surrounding countryside – a designated ‘Area of Outstanding Beauty’ and the traditional harbour is just 10 minutes away on foot.

Right on your doorstep is the South Coast Path, which stretches for more than 600 miles, so start with this local section of the trail and see how far it takes you.
