St Agnes 2 bed pet friendly cottage sleeps 4

England  > South West England  > Cornwall  > St Agnes

General

In the centre of St Agnes, with attractive views across a road over the wooded public gardens (bluebells in May), one of a row of three Victorian cottages. At the back, a small, paved courtyard with table/chairs. The cottage has been completely transformed in 2011 to 21st cent. comfortable cosiness.

From pavement, door into dining room with oak floor and fireplace (woodburner); living room with TV/DVD; brand new fitted kitchen (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave, fridge-freezer) with back door to courtyard. From dining room, steep stairs up to two bedrooms, both double (5’ beds), one with en suite shower-room (suite); bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). Parking possible outside, but best to leave the car safely in the free car park (80 yards) and take the frequent buses. Terrific cottage, right in the centre of things. No children under 5, except pre-crawling babies.

Guest Comments

This is a wonderful cottage, refurbished to very high standards throughout. We booked last minute dot.com and the Housekeeper had thoughfully left us milk in the fridge, together with a packet of choccy bics and bunches of daffodils in the lounge and dining room - really nice touches. Despite the awful weather we still managed to get out and about and enjoyed returning to our warm and cosy cottage. The village is really welcoming, the bakery is great (try the pasties!!), and the pubs really friendly with roaring log fires (Tommy Coopers shoes on the wall of the Railway Inn are worth a look!). Try the local brews from the micro brewery at the Driftwood Spar at Trevaunance Cove - well worth leaving the car and walking!!! - we shall return. - Mrs Shelley Ogle
