St Ives 3 bed seaside holiday cottage sleeps 6

England  > South West England  > Cornwall  > St Ives

General

Several hundred years ago, the sea used to lap against the back door of this pretty little property as it was perched right on the edge of the harbour wall. Steeped in local history, it was used by the St Ives revenue men in the late 1700’s to store captured contraband from local smugglers. Today, it is located no more than thirty yards from the original sea wall and commands fabulous views of the harbour from its attic bedrooms. The cottage is a typical example of the many historic cottages in St Ives in that the accommodation is spread over several floors which are accessed via narrow staircases.

Completely renovated and refurbished over the last two years, this character cottage benefits from full gas central heating and is ideal for famillies and couples alike. It is situated in a tiny little courtyard just off the promenade, right in the very heart of this bustling and famous Cornish fishing village. The back door to the property leads straight out into a cobbled pathway and onto the promenade. The huge selection of shops, galleries, restaurants and pubs are literally just minutes away as are the four wonderful beaches. In short, all you need for a car free and carefree holiday!
