General

Just above the harbour in St Mawes, a pretty, little semi-detached, south-facing cottage, once the village bakery and still full of character with original features and some antiques. At the front, shared patio looking over the sea, surrounded by flowers and catching the sunshine - a lovely spot for morning coffee and papers. From the cottage, steepish path and steps lead down to the harbour nearby.

Inside, restored with care and comfortable. Small, cosy living room (open fire available autumn and winter) with beams, sea view, TV/DVD, iPod dock; well-equipped kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washer-drier, microwave) with pine table/chairs and wood floor. Steep, narrow stairs (no stairgate) up to double bedroom and large bathroom (suite with Victorian roll-top bath plus separate shower); door from bedroom or bathroom to ‘secret staircase’ to a pretty ‘hideaway’ twin bedroom with cabin door, beams and rafters. Both with sea and village views. Parking for one car.
