General

From its waterside location above Tavern Beach in St Mawes, this cottage offers outstanding views across the Bay towards Carricknath Point. Situated only some 100 yards from the famous Tresanton Hotel, a short walk from the Harbour area and with the beach on your doorstep, this recently refurbished cottage is a simply wonderful place to stay in St Mawes. What better way to relax with such idyllic views, a superb swimming beach right below your cottage and all the facilities of St Mawes only a stroll along the seafront.

The cottage is a characterful cottage that has been refurbished by the owners in 2009. The cottage has a newly fitted kitchen, bathroom & shower room and accommodates up to 4 people in 2 bedrooms. There is a small front garden and a raised patio garden to the rear which is more private and a good place to enjoy views of the Bay. The lounge / kitchen area is open plan, but full of character with a low beamed ceiling.

Just a short note to say thanks for facilitating our recent stay at this cottage in St Mawes.
The property was one of the best that we have ever rented. - Anne Barry, Sep 2010

We had a lovely stay here, it is very cosy and a joy to stay somewhere with a good shower and plenty of hot water. Many thanks, we will return. - Mrs Kelly, Jun 2010

As for the cottage, it was delightful. The position was perfect and the cottage was an excellent blend of olde charm and modern convenience with the lovely new kitchen and bathrooms. The owner was also very welcoming and helpful. Thanks for a great holiday. - Anna Cahill, Jun 2010

The cottage had everything that we needed. We have enjoyed the cottage very much and hope to book for next year. - Barbara and Graham Lanceley, May 2010

We cannot think of anything that could be improved. We have stayed in St Mawes before but your cottage is the best and we will definitely book again. - Debbie and Paul Riddiford, Apr 2010
