Guest Comments

A great holiday location, just a couple of minutes walk from the beach. We woke up each morning looking at Burgh Island and listening to the sea on the shore. The property has a great private garden which the girls very much enjoyed (they made a den in the tree and spent a lot of time hatching holiday plans there)! Thurlestone Sands beach is super - when the tide goes out there are rock pools, and when the tide is in you have a really good sandy beach. A typical day was a trip out in the morning (Berry Pomeroy castle with its audio tour is superb, as is China Blue pottery painting in Totnes on a rainy day) and then on the beach for an hour or two. We will definitely consider going again. - Mr Oddy
