In Treknow, one of four Victorian terraced houses perched high with terrific views down the Trebarwith Strand beach valley through its big bay windows. The house is on three levels, with 13 steps from the lane up to the front door, and, at the back, a long, enclosed garden (table/chairs) on various levels with a gate at the top leading to a back lane and parking.

Inside, recently redecorated and refurbished and made homely and comfortable. From front garden, door to hall; living room with open fire, TV/DVD and great valley views; big fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, washing machine, tumble drier, microwave, fridge-freezer) with original Delabole slate floor; back porch leading to loo (washbasin) and door with a few steps up to the garden. From hall, stairs (stairgates) up to two bedrooms – a double (5' bed) with great views including glimpse of sea, and a twin; bathroom (suite plus bath-shower). More stairs up to second floor and another twin bedroom with more great views and TV. A good family house (not suitable for anyone with mobility problems). Within a few hundred yards down the lane, a good food pub/restaurant (remember torch!).

This house was everything and more then we expected. Lovely comfortable house with all the home comforts with the added bonus of waking up to such a wonderful view each morning of sheep in the field opposite and the sea nestled between the hills.
