In Trevone, at the end of a no through road, a detached bungalow with long views to the sea and along the coast. Neat, shrub-filled garden to the front and back (table/chairs, barbecue, sea view). Eight hundred yard steepish walk (plenty of beach-side parking for the less fit!) down to the sandy beach (lifeguards in summer) for family fun, swim or surf, then back to sunbathe in the sheltered garden.

Sunny living room with woodburner, TV/DVD and French windows to garden (5 steps down); split-level fitted kitchen/dining room (dishwasher, microwave) with wood floor and pretty views across the garden to the sea; utility with washing machine, tumble drier and freezer; loo (washbasin). Four bedrooms – a double (5’ bed), through to a child’s room (no door) with bunk beds (2'6" wide, 5'8" long), and en suite bathroom (suite), another double, and a room with a single bed. Bathroom (suite plus separate shower) with tiled floor. Exterior hot shower for rinsing sandy bodies. Smoking not permitted in garden. Best for maximum of 5 adults, 2 children. Good for beach or walking holidays.

This property was more than up to expectations. The sea views from the back windows and the garden were gorgeous. The traffic on the walk down to the village and the beach was somewhat annoying but when we got there it was well worth it. The footpath ends up at the Rocky Beach with a sea-water swimming pool when the tide is out. Also walkable distance to Padstow. We loved it! - Holidaymaker
