The sandy beach of Vrahinari is a virtually unknown stretch of golden yellow sand hidden away on the south west coast of the Pali peninsular of Kefalonia. This is an amazing location for stunning sunsets and endless sea views.

Here the secret combination of the house with pathway from its garden down to the golden beach and panoramic sea views has proved to be a great success.

The two-storey villa has a large open-plan living, dining and kitchen area on the ground floor.

A hallway leads to two bedrooms - one double bedded room and one twin. There is one bathroom with corner bath unit with shower and an additional shower-room.

Interior staircase leads up to the mezzanine level which has twin beds.

French windows lead from the living room out onto the sun-terrace where pergolas offer shade and provide an outside living space.

The comfortable living room is part of the open-plan ground floor and has doors leading out to the sun-terrace and pool.

The air-conditined living room is fitted with comfy sofa and a flat screen TV and DVD placer.

The kitchen is open-pan to the dining room and is modern, fully fitted and suitable for self-catering for 6 persons. There is a full cooker plus microwave oven, full fridge and dishwasher. There is also a washing machine. Kettle and toaster area also supplied.

Dining table and chairs to seat 6 persons in the open-plan dining area. Additional dining table and chairs are situated on the pool-side terrace.

There are two bedrooms on the ground floor of the villa. Double bedroom has double wardrobe, air-conditioning and flat-screen wall-mounted TV. The master bedroom is opposite a bathroom with corner bath.

The twin bedded room has fully fitted wardrobes, air-conditioning and wall-mounted flat-screen TV. The bathroom allocated to this room is the shower-room situated opposite in the hallway.

Upstairs under the rafters on the mezzanine level is a cute little air-conditined bedroom suitable for 2 children - the beds are suitable for adults but the open-plan mezzanine level provides minimal privacy as it is above the living area. The bedroom has a chest of drawers (but no space for a wardrobe) and is accessed by wooden steps which are fairly steep.

The villa has two modern bathrooms - one with shower and one with corner-bath unit plus shower. There is also a simple shower outside the villa to rinse off sand.

The pool measures 7.5 by 3.5 metres with a depth of 0.7 to 1.4 metres.

The swimming pool is set in manicured gardens with expansive sea views from the pool-side terrace.

A pathway leads from the garden straight onto the sandy beach of Vrahini.

The brick built bbq at the poolside and shaded terrace with dining table and chairs are all set for wonderful al fresco evenings.
