Cemaes is a small village in the north of Anglesey and is the perfect destination for a beach holiday in Wales. It is renowned as a holiday resort as visitors have been flocking here for years whether its to enjoy the beach life, the quaint little village or to take boat trips or go sailing. Cemaes Bay is well known for its clean and safe sandy beaches and was awarded the prestigious Blue Flag award back in 2004. When staying in Holiday Cottages in Cemaes Bay be aware that dogs are banned from certain parts of the beach and during the summer months (May to October) dogs must be kept on leads on the promenade. The beaches have very good parking facilities and offer both free and pay and display options, with disabled parking available as well.
