Playa d'en Bossa is a popular resort in Ibiza, situated close to both the airport and the capital, Ibiza Town. This low-rise holiday destination boasts a fine beach of pale sand and some excellent water sports facilities. The resort is also home to a couple of the island's best known clubs, Bora Bora and Space. Playa d'en Bossa's beach is the longest on the island, measuring over 3km in length. Alongside the beach is a row of hotels, cafes, pubs and shops. A couple of miles to the south is the official nudist beach of Es Cavellet, popular with the gay community, especially on the southern section near the Chiringay beach bar. The northern part, however, usually attracts couples and families. Within walking distance of Es Cavellet is the fashionable beach at Les Salines, backed by sand dunes and pine trees. Along the beach are several trendy cafe-bars. Nude sunbathing is permitted in some places, especially around Sa Trinxa cafe. To the north of Playa d'en Bossa is the beach at Figeuretes. Playa d'en Bossa boasts two famous venues which have become Ibiza institutions. Bora Bora is the biggest beachside bar on the island, often attracting thousands of revellers during the summer season.
